I am going to Melbourne for stereosonic. I am up for anything, enjoy history, art, clubs/pubs etc. Basically anything fun!
Some good bars and clubs are Asian Beer Cafe and Cookie. La Trobe University has a really good art gallery where Richard Avedon did some great photos earlier in the year. Also, in the main square there are the main museums and art galleries Arts Centre Melbourne

There are many places to visit in Melbourne. If you enjoy museums and art galleries, the Museum Victoria is free. St Kilda Beach has some nice cafes/restaurants around and there is Crown Melbourne for entertainment.

We went to a football game, loads of fun! Also took a classic free tour. Yes, I know but it did give us a good over view of the city and the college kid had some good ideas for places to eat and drink. Also check out Bourdains episodes on Melbourne, we hit a few of his restaurants. Very good. Have fun!!
