What part of Medellin is the best place to stay?

Anyone have any insight into where in Medellin is the best place to post up for about 4 weeks? Not looking at this as a vacation but more of a remote working deal.

To me, one of the best areas in Medellin is El Poblado, there are many offices, banks, shopping centers and nice hotels such as Hotel Poblado Plaza.  I do not have further information than this so hopefully more Trippys can help you out with your request.

I loved Envigado - lively local feel and quite a lot of expat rentals.

Envigado or El Poblado are good options. In both places you will have a lot of options in terms of accomadations and great restaurants and cafes to work from with free wifi. Personally I have felt very safe in both areas. Taxis are relatively cheap and are a great option to get around to other parts of Medellin during your stay.

Hi Billy.
The best place to be at medellin is called El Poblado; is the best neighborhood at medellín, it is secure, clean, have all the types of transport (Metro, Taxi, Bus, etc) you could find a lot of good places to get food and good drink. I highly recommend you find an hotel or hostel on this part.
