Heading to Manhattan Beach with some friends and looking for the best restaurants to try! We are open to all types of food! What are your top places to eat?
Newest restaurant is The Arthur J it's a great steakhouse in downtown. Love & Salt is great dinner. Burger w/ outdoor seating Simmzy's Dive bar w/ great burger is Ercoles Bar. NY style pizza by the slice Manhattan Pizzeria Greek food you gotta eat Petros Also, with a great patio is Nick's Manhattan Beach. Fast casual food Lemonade.
Mentioned in this answer:
FISHBAR is fantastic (north Manhattan), OB's Pub & Grill for Taco Tuesday, Ercoles Bar for the best burgers in L.A. (or pretty much anywhere, 2-4-1 on Wednesdays) & Old Venice Restaurant for good, inexpensive Italian & Greek. El Tarasco Restaurant for the best Mexican (note this is just a counter, not really a sit-down restaurant).

MB Post for sure! There's also a great breakfast spot called The Kettle They have the best muffins.
For the best burrito you will ever have in your life, try The Spot in Hermosa Beach (just a few minutes south of Manhattan Beach). Order the Savory Garden Burrito with extra savory sauce and green salsa. I have been going there every weekend for over two years, it's pretty ridiculous. It's the first & oldest 'natural foods' restaurant in Los Angeles and was endorsed my Paul McCartney back in the 70's. Oh, and it's super healthy and vegetarian. From there, you're only a block from the beach so plan on bringing your bikes -- or you can rent beach cruisers in downtown Hermosa Beach for a boardwalk ride after. Enjoy!
Peter Pham nailed it. I would add The Strandhouse for great food, and an amazing sunset view. I'd also add The Izaka-ya By Katsu-ya for great sushi. Manhattan House has an amazing vibe, with great drinks and killer food (one of my favorite chefs from BLD on Beverly Blvd in Hollywood).

MB Post, Simmzy's, The Izaka-ya By Katsu-yaThe Strand HouseLittle Sister. There are so many good restaurants, but these are some of the best.

I second Tin Roof Bistro, MB Post and FIshbar (great bloody marys). I'd also add Simmzy's and Little Sister!
Hi Katie!
I love Pancho's restaurant in the north end for dinner and drinks. Old school charm and plants/tree's inside.
El Tarasco for tasty quick lunch (Chicken taco's or Jr. Super Delux) 12 chair counter and authentic Mexican food! The Kettle for breakfast with an amazing view of the pier and nice to walk there after for fresh air and views of Catalina Isle. There is also a cool vibe place called Sloopy's that has been there for many years and has lush plants all over. It is great for sit down lunch or breaky! Enjoy MB and rent bikes to cruise on the strand for some fun in the sun!!!
Depends on price of course, but a landmark Mexican food place is El Sombrero in downtown Manhattan. MB Post is excellent but sometimes tough to get a seat. I like Petros which is in the old Metlox Plaza. East Manhattan (Manhattan Village) has Tin Roof Bistro which is very good and safe food for all tastes. For view The Strandhouse is the best.

Love & Salt, MB Post, Fishing with Dynamite, Marine Street Cafe, North End Caffe, Tin Roof Bistro, Pancho's Restaurant.
