Less touristy things to do in Malta

I'm staying on the main Island of Malta for 5 days after having visted Gozo (a great experience I might add). Can anyone recommend places to see/things to do that don't include the usual tourist attractions?

Mdina is an absolute must.

Dinner at Aarons Kitchen in Valletta (not a touristic restaurant, but the food is excellent) and a walk around the streets and museums. - touristic area but still a must do!

If you are gonna be cycling around Dingli Cliffs you can also consider going to Laferla Cross close to the small rural village Siggiewi

  1. Mdina (city)
  2. Aarons Kitchen (restaurant)
  3. Dingli Cliffs (attraction)
