Does anyone have suggestions for places to go wine tasting in Malibu?
Definitely check out Malibu Family Wines. It's a really lovely, serene place with a very low key vibe. It's a tad on the rustic, quirky side so don't choose it if you're looking for elegant, but if you're just looking for a nice place to spend the afternoon it's great. They have tons of olive trees around you can just pick the olives right off them...or at least, I did. ;)
I second Malibu Family Wines! Definitely stop on the way and bring a cheese spread and/or pick up some sandwiches from Malibu Country Mart as it's picnic style. Once you're inside you can buy or taste their wine to enjoy. They also have live music on Saturdays and Sundays which I love.
Another fun spot is Rosenthal Wine Bar & Patio right off the PCH. You really can't go wrong with either place.

Try the Malibu Wine Safari. Unique experience in a Land Rover, very Safari Esque. Something a little different than usual. "Malibu Wine Country" is kind of a misnomer as it is a work in progress. You can't miss w "Cornel Room" - very unpretentious non touristy with a huge selection. Other places just push their own and unfortunately they're just not that great. Sorry but thats the truth. Whats good about Cornel Room is that they have a very large variety in a very hearty setting. Thats my advice for ya. Non Touristy. Off the Beaten Track.
