Hi! we are coming to malaga for 3 days on april. We have 10 people in our group and its surprise trip for one of our frend, who have a 40 year birthday. Do anyone know something very special things what our birthday can try or do near Malaga or Sierra nevada. He likes cooking, wine and trekking and the surprise could be anything challenging or special? Our budget is vey flexible. Also we are interested in if someone knows very cood and authentic restaurants we coud have a dinner or lunch.
Hi Juhani,
If you are prepared to hire a few cars, or a minibus, it's well worth driving the 50km or so to Frigiliana a tiny hilltop village north of Nerja .We spent some time there last summer. There's a regular morning guided hike to the Hidden Village of El Asbuchal in the Siera Nevada. It is a 14km hike with a long lunch in the tavern of the Wild Olive. The views and scenery are amazing! We liked Restaurante Montana Malaga for special dining and, in Frigiliana Restaurante El Mirador, at the very top of the village, with fab views, a lovely ambience and great food and wine.
Hope your trip goes well!
