If you had 5 days to visit Maine, what lighthouses would you visit? Where would you go and what would you do?
Maine (ME) Portland (Maine) Brunswick (Maine) Bar Harbor (Maine)
Mentioned in this answer:
Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Parkis my favorite lighthouse. Acadia National Park is a must, but Bar Harbor is very touristy. You can find much cheaper places to stay in Bangor. Camden (Maine) is expensive and crowded, try Rocklandor Boothbay Harbor for the midcoast. Portland (Maine) is worth a day of exploring. The beaches in the south are beautiful, try York (Maine) and visit the Stonewall Kitchen York Company Store. The mountains are beautiful too, lots of hiking options, and skiing in the winter.

Portland Head Light at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth is a must. It's the most photographed lighthouse in the world and the ride out there is beautiful.
This is a picture I took on a recent trip home.
