Animal sight-seeing in Madagascar

Love to go to Madagascar and check out the wild life. Does anyone have any suggestions about where to go, or companies there that do these kind of tours?

You should totally go. Lemurs are endemic and thus can only be seen there. You can see them in parks in Antananarivo but definitely not the best place. YOu should go to the national parks and see them in Real life. Best experience for me was in Isalo National Park. Amazing Landscape. But really lemurs are everywhere even in Nosy Komba.

While you are in madagascar and depending what you are looking for, you can also check ou Ile Sainte-Marie or Nosy Be or Anakao

1. Not far from the capital Antananarivo is Mantadia National Park (sometimes referred to as Andasibe National Park) where you can see different kinds of lemurs, chameleons and birds. What makes this park special is the fact that it's the only place in the world that you can see the Indri Indri lemur. If you stay at Hotel Feon' ny Ala which borders the park, you will hear the magical cries of the Indri Indri lemurs.

I especially recommend the night walk at Mitsinjo Reserve, which is right across from Andasibe NP main gate. Just ask around. In the North, check out Amber Mountain National Park, where you can see lots of lemurs, birds, chameleons, of which the most special is the Pygmy Chameleon, which, full grown, is no bigger than a fingernail.

I haven't been myself, but I've wanted to go for a long time.  If you are into photography, check out ORYX Photographic Expeditions.  The link below goes to their Madagascar tours.  The guides and clients have come back with amazing photos!
