The Victory Trailhead in West Hills (California) is a great hike. The entrance is at the end of Victory Blvd.

Malibu Creek State Park has lots of good trails and is located in Calabasas. Also check out Chesebro Canyon's China Flat trail

We always liked Charmlee Wilderness Park and Malibu Creek State Park. At Charmlee you can get fantastic views of the Pacific and in Malibu Creek there is a riparian habitat along the creek that was beautiful years ago but I don't know how much water runs though there now due to the drought. You might also try Cheeseboro/Palo Comado Canyons Park.

Awesome answer! I'm a part of the community team here and I've helped you highlight the places in your answer on a map! In the future, you can do this yourself as you answer a question by simply typing the @-symbol followed by the name of the place. Take a look at your map next to your answer :)

Check out Calabasas Peak State Park - I've heard it's gorgeous! Here's some more info on it from LocalHikes.com.

Hi Patricia,

I have never hiked these mountains, but I know a few trails you can try, I don't know how intense of a hike you are looking for, but here are some options:

Malibu Creek - 8 miles

Saddle Peak, Monte Nido - 4 miles

Sandstone Peak - 7 miles

Cheeseboro - 2 miles

Bulldog Road - 8 miles

Hope this helps!
