There's lots to do in LA, per your interests the LACMA is a great museum, The Getty Center is great with amazing views, the Griffith Observatory provides a great view of Los Angeles.
For some great meals I love the following:
- French toast at Square One Dining or cripsy french toast from Blu Jam Cafe
- Mexican food at Paco's Tacos - especially their blended strawberry margaritas and queso fundido with handmade flour tortillas
- Doughnuts from Randy's Donuts
- Doughnuts from ICDC
- Catfish with black bean sauce from Typhoon
- Sushi from Sushi Masu or Hide Sushi
- Crispy rice, seared albacore, baked crab rolls, popcorn shrimp, shishito peppers from KOI Restaurant
- desserts from Bäco Mercat
- mushroom toast and dessert from Gjelina
