Hi Svetlana! Where to even start?!?

Ok, hiking is a big thing here, check out either Runyon Canyon Park (below) or Escondido Falls which ends at a waterfall.

Things to eat: the tsukemen dipping noodles at Tsujita LA Artisan Noodles Annex, the Father's Office burger at Father's Office, ice cream filled cupcakes at Sprinkles Ice Cream, build your own bread pudding at Schulzie's Bread Pudding & Coffee and ANYTHING (and everything) at smoke.oil.salt, especially the Canelons de Rosa. If you want to do what locals do: the Upright Citizens Brigade is always a great time, El Matador State Beach is breathtaking and LACMA is always inspiring.

Other things to try to fit in: head (hungry) to Grand Central Market, grab brunch and bottomless mimosas at Bacari PDR, buy a book at The Last Bookstore and have a drink at Yamashiro at sunset.

Don't be afraid to tweet at @UseTrippy or me (@breannajwilson) if you need some guidance along the way!!

Hi! Hike to the Hollywood Sign, visit Santa Monica Pier, get ice cream cookie sandwiches at Diddy Riese, and don't miss the LA Farmers Market! Eat at Lemonade, wander Abbot Kinney by Venice Beach, and enjoy that LA lifestyle! Be sure to try an acai bowl! Svetlana,

Do you have a particularly neighborhood you want to really see? L.A. is just so expansive, so I often recommend people narrowing it down to a neighborhood or two. A couple fave experiences of mine:

Malibu Beach

Venice Beach

Hollywood
