Jazz Clubs in Los Angeles

I have friends coming into town who really like Jazz. I want to take them to a Jazz club where we can have a few drinks and listen to some good music. I would have taken them to the Jazz Bakery, but I believe it is on hiatus. Any neighborhood in Los Angeles is fine. Thanks!

The Blue Whale. It's a bit loud in there but they get amazing guys in there. Monday night Jazz Eclectic at the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Killer musicians and special guests.

Great suggestions, Ferrari! These spots sound awesome. By the way, I'm a community manager here and I've helped you highlight the places in your answer on a map! In the future, you can do this yourself as you answer a question by simply typing the @-symbol followed by the name of the place. Take a look at your map next to your answer :)

How about The Edison Downtown Los Angeles? They have jazz from time to time and generally play great music.

H.O.M.E. House of Music & Entertainment is not really a jazz club but more of a restaurant/bar with live music all the time! They have a great Sunday brunch that is sure to hit your cravings for food, beverages, and music. Check there website for full details on who is playing that day. Happy jazzing :)

The Baked Potato, hands down the best jazz venue in LA. Excellent music in an intimate venue (literally the size of a living room). Some of the biggest names in the world play this little hole of a venue.
