I'd love to try LA food trucks. Where are they generally located? Which ones should I opt for if I ever see one. My hotel will be in the LA live area just so you know, thank you! :)

Hi, the best way to track the trucks is on Twitter and their FB pages.  Some of them, like Grilled Cheese Truck, also have a schedule on their website.   There are also some events (monthly and weekly), which draw many food trucks in one location.  Some bars without kitchen facilities also set up food trucks to come on certain nights and serve.

I work in Downtown LA, and there are food trucks every day at lunch time on Grand between 3rd and 4th.  Koji is there every Friday, some Weds., as well as a variety of other trucks.  I believe there are some on Spring Street too.  Additionally, there are some food trucks, like Egg Slut and Sticky Rice, which have storefront locations in the Grand central market on Hill and 1st.  That is an up and coming food spot worth trying.  They serve dinner Thursday-Saturday nights as well.  Enjoy!

The Kogi truck is a must.  But you find out where they are on their website kogibbq.com.  If you're downtown, then go to Grand central market.  It's not trucks but it's stands are "truck-like."

Hey Andrea,

Twitter is the best resource for finding food truck locations.  Kogi BBQ trucks are the most famous food truck in LA, and they post locations/times on their account  #kogibbq.   There are hundreds of food trucks in the LA area best time to see them is around lunch time.

If you are in Santa Monica check out 26th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. There are always food trucks there during lunch time Mon-Fri. You can also search for specific trucks you may want to try and they post their location so you can find them.
