Where to eat the most authentic british fish and chips in London?

I'm going to be spending a family vacation in London for about 10 days with 2 kids. Where are the best places in London for fish and chips?

Hello Lin,

London is great - You can get decent fish and chips from most English pubs throughout the day. I have heard that Poppies Fish & Chips, Spitalfields is good. You can also see a list here: http://www.timeout.com/london/restaurants/londons-best-fish-and-chip-restaurants

There are a plenty of things to do and see in London with your kids, such as museums and the HMS Belfast. See a list here:  http://www.neverendinghoneymoon.net/23-free-things-in-london/

You can also visit the seaside at Brighton (England) and The Windsor Castle

Enjoy your time in London!

While locals have always told me the only place to get authentic fish and chips is by the seaside, I enjoy stopping at Laughing Halibut or Poppies Fish and Chips, Camden when I visit London.
