Best places to eat with teens

For 5 days trip in London with my 2 kids 12 & 15, I'd like them to discover different food. We'll stay near Bayswater stop but we'll move around...

I'd recommend Jamie's Italian (part of the Jamie Oliver chain).  The food is very good, fun, well priced and suitable for all tastes.  The waiting staff are also pretty cool.  There are plenty of them around London.

Another option is All Star Lanes which has a branch in Bayswater All Star Lanes - niche bowling/american dinner style eatery - good retro fun.  (

Portobello Rd is a pretty cool place close to Bayswater - there are loads of cool cafe type places and of course the incredible Electric Cinemaif you get the chance it's worth a visit but you will need to book. (

ahhh - you decided to stay in Bayswater in the end and not Finsbury Park!  Just round the corner is Edgware Road which is home to many many middle Eastern restaurants if your kids fancy trying this kind of thing.  Also, on Queensway there are some good Chinese places (for some reason it is a mini-chinatown).  As below, london is good for Indian food but rather than go to Brick Lane (unless you want to take them shopping in Shoreditch and into Spitalfields market (in which case I'd just eat at one of the stall there or Poppy's fish and chip shop) why not try Drummond St - one short road but full of little Bengali places AND a few that serve masala dosa which is more southern indian and not always available and, as its not spicy, a good intro for them.

Hard Rock Cafe London, of course! But for different let them try traditional fish and chips or take them to a traditional carvery. Also, Indian food is usually really good in London!
