A warm place to travel for 1 week in early April from London?

Hubby and I (and possibly a few friends) are looking for a warm place to have a holiday over Easter. We would like a budget holiday (under £200 pp for flights from London and not too much for accommodation) preferably with a beach and activities. Thanks!

Malta. April would be a nice time to visit, and even though there will be tourists already, it won't be as bad as the summer time. You should be able to get in the water already then. There are things to do to keep you occupied for a few days, like Saint John's Co-CathedralHal Saflieni Hypogeum, discovering Sliema. You can party Paceville. If you stay near St Paul's Bay, you will be close to the sandy beaches in Mellieha. You're lucky because l think your budget would get you flight and accommodations from London with Ryanair Reservations & Customer Service or Easy Office etc. Personally, l would just get the flight and split like an Airbnb HQ rental, which should be very reasonable. enjoy!

Hey Jacqui, I can recommend Malaga in Spain. There are cheap flights from London, the city itself isn't expensive either and it's already gonna be warm in April there. The city is cute for shopping and partying and you can simply take a bus in any direction and will end on a secluded beach.

Malta and Portugal, as suggested already, may be a little cool if you are looking for a beach holiday with guaranteed sun for beach bathing - assuming that is what you are after.

Although Malta is going to be better at that time of year than in the summer when it is almost too hot and crowded with tourists, it may not be warm enough to go in the water every day etc.

If you are consider going there is so much else to do there other than beaches too - some ideas here:

How about Egypt - there are some very reasonable deals and of course Airbnb? Morocco is a similar climate then too, although they don't really have many beaches, but plenty of sun if you enjoy sitting by the pool.

Good luck

Portugal was beautiful in mid May when we went. April may be a little damp still but it would still be warm and pleasant :) look for for cheap deals including transfers.
