Mei & Kerstin
We're going to spend a week in Lisbon soon! Just checked the weather and it looks like it's going to rain almost every day! :( Of course, we don't really trust the weather forecast now, but just want to make sure what to do and see and which places to avoid in the city if it is going to rain all week long. Do have any good suggestions? We have also planned to spend a day or two in Sintra: do you think it'll still be worth it?
Thanks in advance for your tips!

Hello Mei & Kerstin,
It is very hard to find a day in Lisbon where it rains during all day. Usually rain comes and goes... So, my first suggestion is don't stop going to places just because it is going to rain, and second... bring an umbrella and a raincoat ;)
If the rain gets more intense a good option is the one suggested by Claus, I also love the Museu Calouste Gulbenkian and if rain pauses you can't miss out the gardens of the museum which are beautiful!
Another totally different option for a rainy day, is the Oceanário de Lisboa, it is quite magical and a good way to spend a few hours while it rains outside.
A third suggestion is the Belém Cultural Center where you can find the Museu Berardo that is a modern art museum. Once again, as soon as rain camls down, you can enjoy the beautiful Belém area and enjoy the famous and delicious pastry at Pastéis de Belém.

If you are in to art then the Museu Calouste Gulbenkian is one of the best art museums in the world. It has both classic and modern art.
If you are going with family, see here cool tings to do in family, a lot of them are perfect in a rainy day. And you shood go to Sintra.
