I need to travel from my house in Leonardtown to Miami and back. My husband wants to do this as quickly as possible. 10 years ago, we did the 1000 mile trip in three days, stopping in Lumberton, and Jacksonville, and then on the way home stopping in Cocoa Beach, St Augustine, visiting our son in Summerville, and stopping in Henderson NC on the way home. Five days
But this trip will be the 3rd week in December and dealing with holiday traffic, and the trip back will be the second week in January and maybe dealing with weather. I think we need to stop and see our son either on the way down or on the way back. Which should it be, and how should we go?
