If you want to stop at pet friendly places, you need to do that research yourself on Booking.com or similar sites. I usually pick a hotel to stay at that has a free breakfast, and I find that it is best to stop for lunch someplace before everyone gets "hangry" wherever you are at that time rather than trying to get to some special place which may not still be in business when you get there. And when I get to a motel, I ask about restaurants there for dinner. You do not say what time of year you are doing this trip, nor how many days you have to do it. From Las Vegas to Brandon (Florida) is roughly a 35 hour trip. So you could do it in 5 seven hour days or 7 five hour days. There are 3 possible routes. THe southern route goes down through Phoenix, El Paso, Fort Stockton, San AntonioHoustonBaton Rougeto Pensacola From there all the routes go down to Tallahassee and to Brandon. That would be about 9 days The middle route goes to AlbuquerqueAmarillo, DallasShreveport, Jackson (Mississippi), Mobile and then to Pensacola again. The northern route is the same as the middle route to Amarillo and then goes to Norman, Memphis, Birmingham (Alabama), Montgomery and then down to Talahassee.
