What are great places to go and see in Laguna Beach? Open to all suggestions!
Hello-
So many fun things to do in Laguna! Let's say you roll into town. Parking is tight. Find a spot and utilize the trolly for the day. It runs every day through the summer. Right there is a good resource for finding new adventures.
Stop at the Sawdust Festival. It's cool with a lot of amazing local artists displaying their wares. Across the street is The Laguna Playhouse. Check out who/what is playing there prior and plan accordingly. Pageant of the Masters is very cool as well.
Main Beach is a stroll away. Always a good place to people watch while enjoying your gelato from across the street. Heisler Park is a beautiful stroll to the left..right behind Las Brisas Stop in Hotel Laguna for lunch...to the rear is a restaurant with an amazing view. You sit right on the sand. Nice!
If you're into historical things, check out the historical society right next to Whole Foods and Wells Fargo. Every Saturday there is a Farmer's Market at the top of that street.
Stop by the Marine Room Tavern for a bit of old school local charm. Dive bar, but has good music most nights.
There are many many cool beaches as you head south. Take a moment to enjoy the views. Victoria Beach offers not only a beautiful beach, but a cool lighthouse tower that was build years ago. Down the road a piece is Aliso Creek State Beach. Lots of parking and you can't beat the sunsets.
Across the street is Dan Browns Golf Course and the Ranch restaurant. For a different view of the canyon, and good food, stop there. They close at 3..but try it for a late lunch. Cocktails are good!
Montage is worth the stop to just stroll through the grounds. Dog friendly and lovely.
Enjoy your visit. I hope you gave you some ideas.
