Best season to visit Fushimi Inari at night?

I'm planning ahead, and so would just like to know, when is the best season to visit Fushimi Inari at night? Any other tips for walking the trail at night? Thanks in advance!

Hi Patricia,

Fushimi Inari is best visited towards the end of October when the leaves on the trees become orange and red. During the end of autumn and winter, there are leaf light shows at night which makes the whole place look really beautiful!

I recommend you to visit this shrine early in the morning when not so many visiting. Usually it is best to visit shrine in the morning, when you can receive good luck. Autumn is nice walking up to the top of the mount with nice autumn leaves...hope you enjoy exploring there!
