Buying SIM card for data in KL - Which is recommended for travelers?

I'll be traveling to KL and want to periscope/Snapchat/blog during my trip to keep a bunch of friends updated. I need good 3G internet while on the go, and a service with good coverage is ideal. What do you recommend?

Hi Jayanth, will you be based primarily in KL or will you be travelling?

I would recommend either Hotlink, Xpax or Umobile.

Hotlink and Xpax are prepaid plans from Maxis and Celcom respectively, and they tend to have good coverage, with Celcom having the best (including on highways). However if you're going to remain mainly in the city centre, I would recommend Umobile as they give the best bang for buck. Hope this helps!

There 3 main providers namely, Celcom, DiGi and Maxis. I would say they are equally good in coverage for data purposes.

DIGI is ok or maybe can try Celcom too but a bit expensive
