Hi,

My best friend and her husband will be in Knoxville from December 26 until January 3rd. They love good food & drinks and know absolutley nothing (neither do I) about where to look

Depends on the type of food you like. Downtown Knoxville is a lot of fun, with nice restaurants and bars. Kefi is a Mediterranean restaurant with terrific ambiance. Tomato Head is good for sandwiches, pizza, etc.

West Knoxville (Tennessee) is the place everyone wants to go. Parkside Drive has a lot of restaurants. Seafood is Chesapeake's Seafood Restaurant & Raw Bar, The Chop House a few miles down the road are some of the local best. If you have specifics you are looking for, let me know.

Knoxville has lots of good food and drink ! What area and what type of food ? Check out Ye Olde Steak House on Chapman Highway .. check out Dead End BBQ on Sutherland Ave ... check out Calhoun's On The River.. Market Square downtown has a lot of food trucks etc and there is a fun pizza place called the The Tomato Head
