Heading to Kilkenny and I'm looking for the best restaurants to try while I'm visiting. Open to all types of food! What are your top places to eat?

Definitely go to Campagne for beautiful food and nice ambience. This restaurant has won many awards, including a Michelin star. Here's a link: www.campagne.ie
Zuni Restaurant & Boutique Hotel is also very good.
Kilkenny Design Restaurant is great for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.
Many of the bars in Kilkenny are worth visiting for lunch, including Lanigans Bar & Hostel or go to the The Field Bar & Restaurant for seafood chowder.

HI Katie. I was there last week at lunch time and I had a lovely snack at the The Fig Tree. If you have any sandwich there especially with their home made chutney it will always be a winner.
