Good hotel and things to do with 8 year old son.

I am taking my 8 year old son to Key West in the Spring.

1. Looking for a nice resort style hotel- for swimming and other activities, decent restaurant, possibly with beach access.

2. Needs suggestions on activities that would be interesting for an 8 year old boy in Key West.
