Best eats in Princeville?

What are the best local places to eat in Princeville? I love to experience whatever the local flavor is.

Ruth,

We were based in Princeville during our stay on Kauai and on multiple mornings we drove over to Kilauea Bakery & Pau Hana Pizza for breakfast and/or lunch. The bakery is fantastic and the pizza is equally delicious!

Kauai Grill at St. Regis Princeville is a fantastic restaurant for dinner and you can grab drinks beforehand at the St. Regis Bar Terrace for AMAZING sunset views.

Federico's Fresh-Mex Cuisine was also one of our go-to's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner - just a small little spot for carry-out with tables right outside. Nothing fancy, but that's the beauty of it - it was some of the most delicious, fresh Mexican-style food you could ask for.

Make sure you also stop at Lappert's Hawaii for some Kauai Pie Ice cream, Ono Ono Shave Ice for a Kauai Sunrise with Mac Nut ice cream and a coconut sno-cap, Tahiti Nui for food, drinks, a luau, and live music, Hanalei Dolphin Restaurant for great seafood, and Bar Acuda for great views and fantastic tapas!

We enjoyed eating at any of the roadside stands that we found. Especially the Huli Huli chicken ! Our resort in Princeville had an outdoor grill, so we choose to go to the local grocery store and enjoy many of our meals for less money. It also allowed us to see what the locals eat on a regular basis.
