Itinerary for backpacking trip

Any recommended itinerary (3/4 days) for a backpacking  trip to Kathmandu?

If it is 3/4 days, you do not need any itinerary, Kathmandu will keep you occupied for the whole time. There are great UNESCO World Heritage sites, 7 to be precise, going around them will be 2 days. Night life at Thamel (I would rather call it evening life) is pretty good as well, plenty of Pubs and Clubs to kill time.

Kathmandu Durbar Square
Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Patan Durbar Square
Shree Pashupatinath Temple
BoudhaNath Stupa
Swayambhunath Stupa
Changu Narayan Temple

There you go, FULL 2 days .. also pay a visit to Nagarkot early in the morning for Sunrise, you will see Sunrise on the Himalayas from there.

Once done with Kathmandu, head for Pokhara, do some boating at Phewa Lake, sightseeing and paragliding as well.

Back to KTM the next day and the back home.

You have your perfect vacation, give me a ring if you need directions or assistance. Will be pleased to take you around.

Cheers !!
