Random girls weekend at the end of March 2018...flights are cheap to KC so KC here we come? Where do you recommend we stay? We'd like to be within walking distance to most stuff any suggestions?
Anything we must do, see, experience in KC??? None of us has ever been to KC before we have no idea. I've already see a few BarBQ lists so i'm think we'll be covered food wise...I'm looking for more KC experiences input. Thanks so much!!!
For me, the apartment-style Residence Inn by Marriott Kansas City Downtown/Convention Center in downtown was terrific for a couple of days stay. They offer complimentary breakfast, and all rooms have a fully-equipped kitchen - making it easy to prepare meals on nights when your group prefers to relax in the room.
I also like it since the hotel is on the Kansas City streetcar line (free service), which means you can get to Power and Light District from the hotel.
Visit the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art if you like contemporary art. And of course Power and Light District for bars and restaurants and Arabia Steamboat Museum.

Stay at the Hilton President Kansas City, Swanson Allison M MD, or Courtyard by Marriott Kansas City Downtown/Convention Center , depending on your brand preference. For there, power and light is a quick walk, or take the street car to city market, or the crossroads.
