we were planning to travel to Jammu and Kashmir with all family for our holidays next month. Is it safe to travel now. Please advise.

Jammu & Kashmir is a beautiful place with respect to the scenery and culture. If you are someone who loves beautiful landscapes and cold winters and loves exploring a new culture , then Jammu and Kashmir is the place for you.
As far as safety is concerned , tourist places such as Srinagar, Gulmarg, and Sonamarg are safe. There are heavily armed personnel posted there for our security. But before you go , do check the situation there as it keeps varying from time to time.
