This is not a beach with white sand but Beech Lake is the largest body of water for swimming and skiing closest to Jackson (Tennessee). Beach Lake is in Lexington (Tennessee) and is a 20 min. drive east on (hwy 412) from Jackson Tn. or you can drive east on int. 40. and follow the signs to Lexington exit. If you take hwy. 412 it will take you straight to Beech Lake on your left for parking and launching your boat. There are two entrances. The first entrance is for launching boats and parking and the second is for all other vehicles that come for swimming. At times they have entertainment such as bands, some being known names. You'll have to check for the entertainment listings online. Hope this helps!
