Ireland transportation

If someone was not going to rent a car, is there another way to go from say, Dublin and then spend the day in Belfast? What are my options? Any transportation tips?

There are many tours from Dublin to Belfast. The Titanic Belfast Ltd. is a must see.

Hi Kelly,

There are frequent buses and trains from Dublinto Belfast and the journey takes just over 2 hours.

Buses operate for more of the day and there are a few operators such as dublincoach.ie  and buseireann.ie but train is a very scenic way to travel.

Going beyond Belfast by public transport can be difficult and requires more time to explore.

Enjoy your visit and check out www.transportforireland.ie for their journey planner that lists public transport options.

Thank you so much for the great information! I didn't even think of a train, that sounds wonderful! Thanks again.
