I spend the holidays with my in-laws outside Indianapolis every year (in Fishers). We don't usually do much, so it got me thinking that there might be some good things we're missing around town during the holidays. What's your favorite thing to do during the holidays?
Sounds like you're looking for family-oriented activities! I have family there, and we always try to make it to the Indianapolis Zoo if we're there around the holidays. They put on a really good light show and have all kinds of caroling, pageantry, etc.
The Conner Prairie Interactive History Park also does a whole Christmas program with gingerbread house competitions and horse rides and bonfires and all kinds of other really fun things even if you don't happen to be traveling with kids. This place always gets me into the spirit!
