Going to Ibiza this summer and am looking for nice restaurants, shops and other fun things to do. Thanks!
You should definitely rent a car and check out the beaches on the west and east coast. Platjets De Comte is amazing for sunsets and views. Depending on what month you are going, many of the premium restaurants and beach clubs need to be booked weeks in advance. Amante Beach Club [sol den serra] on the east side is high-end with great food, vibe and views. Definitely need to book beach chairs as space is limited. The cliffs can block out the sun past 6 so plan on getting there earlier to enjoy the day. You can call and make reservations ahead of time [recommend doing this before your trip] Hippy Market is also great. The port area has good restaurants but you need to be aware of the ones right in front of the port as these are mostly tourist traps. La Tana is a good southern Italian restaurant, tucked away but still in the port. Sushiya Aoyama is also great, but tucked away in the port as well. La Bodega is right outside of the castle gates and serves great tapas. El Hotel Pacha obviously is a must. You can get discounted tickets at most of the bars in the port. I would avoid St. Antoni, it's younger and much more trashy. The Marina area is by far the better option and chiller, and it's close to El Pacha.
