Best shopping in Houston?

Going to be with my sister in Houston and she loves to shop. Where should we go!? We both like to mix it up so a variety of malls and cute boutiques would be great. Would love to find some things unique to TX!

Rice VillageHighland VillageW 19th St in the Heights all have a variety of shops. The Heights has a more eclectic selection. If you want an Outlet mall there's the Houston Premium Outlets and Tanger Outlet Center HoustonHouston Galleria is the mother load of malls in Houston. This place is usually pretty busy.

A few of my favorites in no particular order:

Hello-Lucky – I can see why they call it this because it’s really unique one-off jewelry, clothes, etc. Everything has a little bit of a rustic feel to it and you can easily pick up something great for under $100.

Blue Hand—for really unusual gifts. Reminds me of Anthropologie

Raspberry Rose – has some of the cutest dresses and shirts. All really flowy

AREA– if you like home goods this is your place. Amazing pillows, throws, furniture, although I doubt you’ll be buying that when you travel. I also love Biscuit Home which also has home goods but cuter.

Two of my favorites: Elaine Turner Rice Village. OMG, is this place out of control. NOT cheap (I’d say a dress would run about $250 there) but wow. Gorgeous things. I feel the same way about TOOTSIES too. This place is so beautiful I’ve thought about decorating my house to match it. I could spend hours here (and a lot of money because, like Elaine Turner, it’s not cheap).

Kuhl-Linscomb on West Alabama is a fun, HUGE store full of housewares, clothes, jewelry, and gifts. Lots of local items, too.
