Best place to buy cowboy boots in Houston?

I'll be in Houston for work next week and I want to buy a pair of real, authentic, and awesome cowboy boots while I'm there. Don't care if they're brand new or vintage. Where should I go shopping?

Texas Junk Co is a funky, authentically Houston institution with hundreds of "certified pre-owned" and vintage cowboy boots. No credit cards. Usually open Friday and Saturday only, from 11am to 6pm. Call ahead to make sure. The owner, Bob Novotny, is super friendly. Love this place

Give Cavender's Boot City a try.  There are multiple locations and the selection is large so you can find exactly what you want.

Try Cavender's Boot City.  There may be better places for highly customized boots but Cavenders will give you a lot of options, at many different price points. Highly customized animal skin boots would take some time to be made and cost upwards of $1,000.

There is a chain store called Cavender's Boot City that has a good selection. Check their website for a location near you. During Rodeo time, news stations talk about the Texas Junk Co. They apparently sell used boots. Might be worth it to check it. Never been there myself.
