Best free things to do in Hoboken?

I'm going to be in Hoboken next month and will be on a pretty tight budget. I'm looking for the best free and inexpensive things to check out! I love the outdoors, art, museums, you name it. Thanks!

Hoboken is a very small town. Sometimes there are festivals and such depending on the time of year you go. If you have a bike, or roller blades, you can have a good time zooming around on the waterfront for free, overlooking the nyc skyline. Also, people watching is great at the park there right on the river.

Hi Katie. Check out Pier 13 Hoboken (website). It's a beautiful pier that juts out into the Hudson River and features the best views of the Manhattan skyline anywhere around. While it's free to visit/walk down, there are really good food trucks often parked on the beginning of the pier (look out for Luke's Lobster Truck) and a beer garden at the end that'll tempt you to spend some money. This place is a party on beautiful summer night. Enjoy!

Spend a few dollars and take the bus or train (Lincoln Tunnel) into NY City. So much to see just in the Times Square area alone. Walk a few blocks south to the Empire State Bldg for a skyline 360 view of NY. Go at night, cost vary $20-40 dollars.
