Anyone have recommendations of artsy, design-oriented stops in Ho Chi Minh City? Can be cafes/boutique hotels/restaurants/boutiques - a la Wallpaper Mag, the Daikanyama shopping area in Tokyo? A casual mix of colonial and modern with attention to detail. Local artists, interesting architecture..all are welcome. Thanks in advance!
San Art is an amazing not-for-profit space that has phenomenal exhibits and talks. It's pretty much all avant-garde/modern stuff, very Wallpaper mag! I think you would love it!
3t Tôn Đức Thắng - 3A station will be a must for you. You will LOVE IT. A lot of galleries and boutiques also tons of graffitis. An art hub. http://www.adventurefaktory.com/vietnam-3a-station-in-saigon/
I also have a list of cafes you would love to visit: http://www.adventurefaktory.com/vietnam-the-ultimate-saigon-cafes-list/
