Katie from Los Angeles asked

Best free things to do in Greenville?

I'm going to be in Greenville next month and will be on a pretty tight budget. I'm looking for the best free and inexpensive things to check out! I love the outdoors, art, museums, you name it. Thanks!

Bike, run or walk the Swamp Rabbit Trail .  Enjoy Falls Park Drive and the Reedy River downtown.  The West End (also downtown) has some cool places to eat and local stores/art galleries for browsing. South Main Street  is fun to explore day or night.  Enjoy!!!

The downtown area has a great park, beautiful day and night. There are lots of great reasonable priced restaurants in the downtown area as well. You can take in a baseball game at the Greenville drive. There is the upstate history musuem and art museum.

Downtown Greenville is really pretty, especially Falls Park on the Reedy and the pedestrian bridge over the Reedy River.
Greenville County Museum of Art
Paris Mountain State Park is not far.
