I am going with my wife on a baby moon to Grand Cayman over July 4th weekend and we are looking for some good restaurants to eat at. We will be there for 4 nights so a mix of fancy and casual suggestions would be great as long as the food is good. If a place has outdoor seating or live music that would be a plus.
Thanks
Calypso Grill, Morgans Harbour Seafood Restaurant, Catch Restaurant & Lounge (all great with outdoor options)
Ragazzi Italian & Pizza Restaurant Cayman, Agua Restaurant - more chilled indoor
Mentioned in this answer:
Sunset House, Grand Cayman's Hotel for Divers, by Divers (casual bar and restaurant on the water); Grand Old House (more upmarket bar and restaurant on the waterfront nearby); Copper Falls Steakhouse. (excellent steakhouse); Icoa Café (very popular spot in a strip mall but with excellent food); Morgans Harbour (relaxed spot on the Frank Sound side - top quality seafood).

Hi Matthew, I lived in Cayman for 9 years and here are my 3 fav restaurants on the island.
1. Calypso Grill (amazing place on the water with outdoor and indoor seating, fresh fish, and save room for the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert)
2. Blue by Eric Ripert (fine dinning at its best, located at The Ritz-Carlton) Absolutely amazing food, pricy but totally worth it. Try the wine pairing tasting menu.
3. Ragazzi Italian & Pizza Restaurant Cayman (Great little Italian place, probably the busiest restaurant amongst locals, delicious Italian food at a good price) Say hi to Paolo and Andy the restaurant owners.
Let me know how it was.

Sunshine Grill is my personal favorite. It is very casual with outdoor seating and a swimming pool.
Would yuo be looking for FINE DINING? Or just great local food in a Casual , atmosphere?
Over the Edge on the Northside is very good. It is a bit of a drive but it has outdoor seating and a great view.
