Visit the chateau de Coppet (where Writer Mme de Stael lived). Rent a car and drive through the vineyards between above Nyon to Morges, through villages such as Luins, Bougy, Fechy. Drive on past Lausanne ( visit the vieille ville and port of Ouchy ) and Montreux to chateau de Chillon. ( written about by Lord Byron). Take a steamer across the lake to Evian and Yvoire.

It depends on what you like doing.  You can visit the UN or the Roman Ruins under the church.  You can go wine tasting and/or take a boat ride to the other end of the lake and back.  There is always shopping.  If you're into science, you can tour CERN .  Or take a day trip to Annecy.  And there is always cheese in Gruyeres, a charming town.
