Heading out on a road trip between FL and NH. Looking for any suggestions of places to stop.
Florida (FL) New Hampshire (NH) South Carolina (SC) North Carolina (NC) Virginia (VA) Washington, DC (District of Columbia) Maryland (MD) Delaware (DE) New Jersey (NJ) Pennsylvania (PA) New York City (New York) Connecticut (CT) Massachusetts (MA) Rhode Island (RI)
So, so much to visit. How much time do you have? Are you driving small highways (recommended!) or interstates (yuck)?
I love highway 17 from Jax to
Meander country roads to
Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Dr (can get off and visit Charlottesville area and other cool spots)
From Northern Virginia (where I live), I like to bypass the Northeast big cities (Washington, DC BaltimorePhiladelphiaNew York City) by heading up highway 15 to Harrisburg. If I have a lot of time, I will take many small roads. For quickness, interstate 81, to 84, to 87, to Mass Pike (90).
Enjoy.

Stop in Connecticut! The Saybrook Point Inn & Spa will be a nice little break from your trip and you can get some AWESOME New England seafood while you're there :)
