Activities for 30-somethings in the Florida Keys

Key West is such a great place to go.  If you're into the night scene, you have to hit Duval Street.  It's wild and touristy, but you've got to experience it at least once. Duval is also a good place to spend an afternoon exploring, if you don't mind half the places selling the same shit.  Personally, I stick with buying from the local artist and craftsmen. 

Definitely check out dinner at Blue Heaven Restaurant, where Hemingway used to ref boxing matches. You MUST eat yellowtail...it's the only place in the world you can get the incredibly tasty fish.  

I don't really party much, so my three favorite experiences (besides hanging on the beach, of course!) have been snorkeling on the reef, going on a shark-feeding tour and getting scooters to explore the island.

Obviously everything you want to do is within a simple drive. Because there is plenty to do, I suggest a simple google search for things to do in the keys and pick out some. Planning an adventure to the keys is not something you will get from an answer its something that you need to research. I tell you this because every single water activity is available. Also there may be events happening at that time in other keys that you may want to attend and will find it on line. Check out the Florida Keys on google and see what's up. There is just to much to do in th Keys for a quick answer here. This place is good for questions like, what to do during a quick stop over. Get searching and planning

Look for Fury Water Adventures at Key West. Every time we go for the ULTIMATE ADVENTURE, either in groups or alone with wife, we have a blast.  You can enjoy all water sports in a day, complimentary beer and wine, some breakfast and lunch included too. It's really a relaxing and entertaining experience allowing you cruise both sides of Key West and a nice sunbath. Online price is about $125/p but you might find better specials on local tourism boots.
