Travelling to Florence, Italy

Does anyone knows when it is the best time to travel to Florence??

"Best" is a relative term, but we absolutely love going in late October. Tourist season is over (or ending) and it feels like you have the city to yourself aside from the charming Italians themselves. We loved going in late fall for this reason and the perfect weather. Think: 70 degrees. Also: if you do wish to shop, those tourist booths are all having end of season close outs, but you'll likely enjoy shopping at off the beaten path boutiques. Enjoy. Florence is amazing!!!

In my opinion, anytime!  We were there the end of November, and loved it.  It was cooler, but much less crowded than pictures we've seen of summertime.  Although it rained one day, it didn't stop us from exploring.  We wore appropriate clothes, bought a cheap umbrella and walked around in the rain.  The rain made it possible for us to have unique photos.  If it rains too hard, you can always stop in for capuccino or gelato :)

We have been in mid to late Nov and mid Dec to early January and it was glorious.  Warmer in Nov, but the Dec. holidays in Florence were lovely.  And...not so many tourists, so a bit more "authentic" experience.

Florence is amazing in any season of the year. We've been there in December. We rented a car at Florence Car Rental and it allowed us to see all the sights and interesting place in the city. We had unforgettable time and enjoyed all the advantages of traveling to Italy in winter.
