Anniversary trip to Europe for 2 weeks?

Can someone please advise on how best to organize a 2 week anniversary trip to Europe. We are young couple and no kids. Looking for a way to just explore Europe and not have to plan a lot. Budget is flexible and we are targeting summer 2015.

Hi there,

it really depends where you would like to go. Europe is big. What I would suggest, make a list with some cities or places you want to see. now that will be your route and you paln on visiting this sights.

This gives you a brief heading where you have to go and when you should be there. However if you decide to stay a day longer in a city or shorten one stay because it is not as interesting as you thougt, move on to the next point on your route. That lets you also have stops inbetween two destinations.

With that way you dont have to plan a lot, but once you know what countries you would like to visit, you have to plan and see if you need visa or any documents. The best way to get around in europe is by train. Europe has a very good train system which can take you pretty much everywhere...

If you don't want to spend time planning, I would suggest you book a tour with a reputable agency.  Spending two weeks moving around Europe on your own without substantial planning is likely not going to go very well.  Planning a trip can a lot of fun though, and the internet has made it pretty easy.
