Want to drive from Edmonton AB, to Windsor without having to pass through USA
I haven't done this but www.viamichelin.com will give you a detailed non-US-entry route.
Edmonton is easily found on their database list but you'll need to put in 'windsor ontario canada' to get a Windsor (Ontario) option.
Once you've got the locations sorted click 'Options' and remove the 'Allow border crossings' tick/check. Then click 'Search' and you'll get a very detailed route (which is printable). Scroll down the results page to find it.
Basically, the route is Edmonton > Saskatchewan > Regina >Winnipeg >Thunder Bay > Sault Ste Marie (Michigan) > Toronto > Windsor (Ontario). Estimated driving time is 48 hours.
