Does anyone know about a good, family oriented restaurant in Dubrovnik that also has some gluten-free items on the menu? :)
There's a restaurant in the heart of old town called Nishta's that has found a lot of favor with my gluten-free friends and is casual and colorful enough for families.
Nishta is vegetarian, vegan and wheat-free. Here's a little more from Afar mag.
Hi Inga,
You can also get gluten-free food at non gluten-free restaurants. A lot of Croatian cuisine is naturally gluten-free, including seafood, prosciutto, cheese, veal, lamb, and grilled vegetables.
Here's a link to a "gluten-free restaurant card" written in Croatian that you can print and take along with you on your trip to show to the waiters: http://www.celiactravel.com/cards/croatian/.
