What is your favorite restaurant in Detroit?

Heading to Detroit and I'm looking for the best restaurants to try while I'm visiting. Open to all types of food! What are your top places to eat?

There is one must visit place in Detroit called Roast. I wish I'd come back sometimes.

It's a steakhouse and it's expensive. For example the steak price is about $90, but it's huge and you'll love it.

It's located next door to The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit

Fishbone's across from Greektown Casino-Hotel. Great food, great times. Very cosmo atmosphere. Beautiful. Exciting.

Selden Standard is amazing.
Bucharest Grill for casual Greek food.

The Apparatus Room on Larned is in an old firehouse, which now houses a boutique hotel. It's a 2-star Michelin-rated restaurant that has a really eclectic menu. It's kind of a scene, but the quality of the food and the cocktails make up for the posturing of the patrons. Not cheap ($$$), but it's an evening out in the city; it's near the waterfront, a few blocks from Woodward Ave., which is like Michigan Ave. in Chicago or Ocean Dr., in Santa Monica, Calif.

I have two, Millers Bar, downtown Dearborn, it's a 1940's watering hole with lots of charm! They have the best damn burgers! Be prepared to wait in line for lunch, they don't do take out, or at least that is what I remember back in the day, it's been years since I've been in Michigan. Their cheeseburgers are phenonemal and they make a great Bloody Mary!
The oyster bar downtown Detroit, Mink Detroit, is a wonderful and cozy spot!
