Denver

Best area in Denver for younger crowds & good nightlife?

My best friend is moving to Denver soon and I plan on visiting soon after.  I've only once stopped in the city for lunch, so I was wondering where to find fun restaurants, nightlife spots and other places to check out. Any suggestions?

This isn't nightlife related, but Denver does have fantastic brunch spots (in addition to nightlife). Snooze is absolutely delicious, but be prepared for a long wait. Jelly Cafe is another one of my favorites. If you have access to a car, the Coors Brewing Co is a great day trip, and there a ton of great craft breweries in the city.

Also! There is a great Williams & Graham which is a really fun spot to check out for a fun night and great drinks.

Hello Casey!  I would say Highland is a great place to start. Downtown Denver is hit and miss, but has some great nightlife as well.  Other areas I would recommend are Washington ParkCapitol Hill (Denver),Platte St Pearl Stand Larimer St.  A friend of mine owns, in my opinion, the best liquor store in Denver at Mondo Vino.  My best meals have been at RiojaEuclid Hall Bar & KitchenMarco's Coal Fired PizzeriaColt & GrayLingerAcorn, Sushi Den , or any restaurant owned by Jennifer Jasczinski, or Frank Bonano.  If you need a gut bomb, try. Sam's No. 3.  Great bar food and burgers atCherry Cricket and My Brother's Bar.  There is also wonderful, and interesting wild game at The Fort and The Buckhorn Exchange.  The Denver ZooDenver Botanic Gardens and Denver Museum Of Nature & Science are all pretty solid and close to each other and there are sone decent restaurants around this area too.  My favorite uptown place is eitherSteuben's, or Hamburger Mary's Bar & Grille

LoDoRiver North Art District, and the Highland Crossing have fun restaurants. 16th Street Mall is OK if that's your thing, but it's just a mall.
