I assume you will travel from Dayton to Birmingham (Alabama) along the I-75, I-71 and I-65? And by 'hotel accommodation' I assume you want to spread the journey over 2 days by staying overnight somewhere en route?
There is a Comfort Inn off the I-65 at Shepherdsville, just south of Louisville https://www.comfortinnshepherdsville.com/ There are also several Comfort Inns off the I-65 as it passes through Nashville. Use the Comfort Inn locations page to find information: https://www.choicehotels.com/en-uk/comfort-hotels
There is a Drury off the I-65 just north of Louisville, another in downtown Nashville and another at Franklin (Tennessee). a little further south along the I-65. Use the Drury locations page to find information:  https://www.druryhotels.com/locations
There are no Best Westerns near your route through Kentucky but there are several in and around Nashville as well as elsewhere in Tennesee. Put 'Tennessee' into the BW hotel locations page and use the +/- symbols to zoom in and out.

Just in case you meant hotel accomm in Birmingham, all 3 chains have hotels in and around the city. Use their website locations page to see where they are.
