Had a hotel booked in San Clemente ..Little Inn by the Sea....just changed to Best Western in Dana Point on Pch 1... Wanted the ocean views...I know there is the train that runs through, but does anyone have opinions on the area? Nearby sights? We only have 2 days and we like nature stuff, coves, sunsets...not into crowds and city stuff...thanks!

Visit the Strand Vista Park for good views of the sunset and the Harbor Point Park to have a great view at the Dana Point Harbor

I would go to the Orange County Museum of Art, not too far from Dana Point! Also, the Dana Point Nature Interpretive Center is pretty cool, there's a tour of the wetlands and the Ocean Institute is awesome, lots of tide pools to see.
